What do we do?

• design, test, iterate, and develop the payload
• revise and optimize satellite bus
• ensure satellite success → technical and logistical aspects
  • mission design, payload design, payload development and testing, whole satellite testing, satellite launch and deployment coordination, legalities, etc.

Purpose of the Payload Team?

• coordinate all those who have been involved and been the main contributors to Pleiades Atlas as the deadline for handing off our satellite to our deployers (Nanoracks for Pleiades Atlas) comes closer
  • we need to be all on one page about the satellite as a whole and the payload we are designing for it
• have accountability and be able to clearly delegate responsibilities
